JB Landscaping (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates jb-landscape.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We are a landscaping company serving West Palm Beach, Florida. We collect information for one reason: so we can respond to people who ask us for an estimate. We do not sell personal information.

Information you give us

When you fill out the estimate form or complete the estimate questionnaire on this site, we collect what you enter, which may include:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your property address or ZIP code
• The services you’re interested in
• How soon you need the work done
• The approximate size of your property

Only a phone number or email address is required. Everything else is optional and helps us give you a more accurate estimate before we visit.

If you call or text the number on this site, we will have your phone number through normal telephone service.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, we automatically receive some technical information:

• Your IP address
• Which pages you viewed and when
• The website or advertisement that sent you here

Advertising click identifiers. If you arrive from an online advertisement, the ad platform adds a tracking parameter to the web address. We capture these and store them in your browser for the duration of your visit, then include them with your estimate request if you submit one. This tells us which advertisement brought you here so we know which ads are working. The parameters are: gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, and campaign tags beginning with utm_.

Browser storage. This site uses your browser’s session storage to remember those advertising parameters and your questionnaire answers while you move between pages. Session storage is cleared automatically when you close your browser tab. This site does not set its own tracking cookies.

Google Ads. We use Google’s advertising tag on this site to measure how many people request an estimate after clicking one of our ads. Google may set cookies in your browser as part of this. Google’s handling of that data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can control how Google personalizes ads to you at adssettings.google.com.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to:

• Contact you about the estimate you requested
• Schedule and perform the work if you hire us
• Answer questions and follow up
• Understand which advertisements bring us customers

We use it for those things and nothing else.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Your information passes through a small number of service providers that make the website work:

• Vercel — hosts this website and processes form submissions
• Resend — delivers your estimate request to us by email
• Google — provides advertising measurement, as described above

These providers only handle your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

This website does not store your information in a database. When you submit an estimate request, it is forwarded directly to us by email and is not retained by the website itself. We keep the emailed request as long as we need it to serve you and to keep normal business records — for example, records tied to a completed job and its invoice.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we’re required to keep it for those business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to see what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

If you’d rather not have advertising parameters captured, you can visit this site directly rather than through an advertisement link, use your browser’s private browsing mode, or clear your browser storage.

Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number, you’re agreeing that we may call or text you about your estimate request. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We do not use your number for automated marketing campaigns.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging services for a property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected at the top of this page.
